Wrongful death, medical malpractice:

A cardiac catheterization was performed on a 41-year old female. Following the procedure, the patient developed a hematoma and pseudoaneurysm that caused extensive internal bleeding from the femoral artery. Patient subsequently suffered hemorrhagic shock which led to her death. Plaintiff alleges that the attending medical providers failed to properly monitor the patient for signs and symptoms consistent with internal bleeding and these failures proximately caused patient’s death.

Wrongful death, nursing home negligence:

Nursing home resident suffered a hypoglycemic attack. Medical providers allegedly proceeded to place a large amount of dry granulated sugar into the mouth of the resident. This negligent act fully obstructed resident’s airway, causing him to suffer cardiopulmonary arrest and led to his death.

Amputation, nursing home negligence:

Nursing home resident suffered an aggravation of decubitus ulcers that resulted in the amputation of her leg.

Wrongful death, medical malpractice:

Decedent was negligently discharged from her family physician when she was suffering from chest pain and an abnormal ECG. She suffered a massive heart attack six days after discharge that caused her death.
